I just made this pic my desktop wallpaper. I moved from CT in 1991 and have such fond memories that will forever bring a smile a peaceful respite when they pop into my mind. I used to live next to (and walk to) J.W. Long Elementary school. I was also within walking distance of the RR tracks across Rt. 12. My friends and I used go down there to watch people fish the Thames. We always marveled at the long strings of Cod tails hanging from the trees. I wonder if those are still there? Thank you for posting such beautiful pics of what I remember CT to be. ---Nick
