I’ll admit that the nasty people comments in The New London Day online got to me a little last night. But things changed quickly this morning. I awoke to a heartwarming email from Jo Wood. It seems that Pete received over 100 calls yesterday. It was a busy day at the farm. Someone has stepped forward to pay for his electricity and heat for the winter. Another brought cash to help.
Jo is planning a cookbook for a fundraiser. In the meantime she says “Our (George & I) contribution is to buy pet food for his dog, Allie, and his cat this winter. Now that Roxie is gone, we need some sweet pet to feed.”
It goes on and on…. The nasty people won’t win. We are going to save our farm. You betcha.
