2017 Ledyard Lights

Headquarters 2 BoxedJudging begins on December 11th for the 3rd annual 2017 Ledyard Lights Contest. The contest is for exterior decorations including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior. No professional decorating allowed.

The following will be awarded:
THE CHEVY CHASE AWARD - Over the top display with lots of lights. Eversource depends on you.
THE HOUSE BEAUTIFUL AWARD - Tasteful, beautiful, elegant - Martha Stewart would be proud.
THE INNOVATIVE IDEAS AWARD - Most creative. You march to the beat of a different drummer.
JUDGE'S AWARD - All homes will be included in this category.
THE LEDYARD FORUM FAN FAVORITE as voted on by members of the Ledyard Community Forum on Facebook from the finalists selected by the Judges.

A home can only win two years in a row in a single category at which time it will be retired and entered into the Ledyard Lights Hall of Fame. This year’s entry into the Ledyard Lights Hall of Fame is 1 Erin’s Way (House Beautiful).

Winners will receive a temporary sign in front of their home designating their superiority over the rest of us and also win prizes including some M&M's. No trips, cars or cash. This is all about bragging rights. However, if any local businesses would like to contribute a prize, we will be happy to accept.

To register as a participant, please fill out this FORM.

As always, this is supposed to be fun and the rules could change just because. Thank you to our judges Linda Davis, Merry Cassabria, Lisa Hirschfield, Bev Nachtwey and Jackson Favry.

Sponsored by Merry Cassabria and Linda Davis of REMAX Realty Group.
